Today was halloween and not a lot happened. When we walked in we had been told it was a free day and that we could work on our websites. We got to get candy corn but as we did there were legs that all of a sudden started to move.
Today we are supposed to do a sketchup on the Lego Block. Since I have already finished that, I have to do the back of the Lego Block which sucks. The whole period I will have to do the Lego Block.
Today's Wednesday Challenge was technically a team work challenge though we were not given the names nor number of the co-working group. This entire challenge was based around the sketchup designs that both groups would be making. We were placed into groups of three, I was with raul and shaunt, we had to create a sketchup model of the capital letter E and then we were supposed to get a sketchup model from another group.
As a continuation of Yesterday's Wednesday Challenge today we were given another group's sketchup model and had to make a real life model of it out of cardboard with the exact dimensions without making that many mistakes in it's construction. Our construction began with us first drawing it on a piece of cardboard then proceeded to cutting off the excese material where we then moved on to labeling our capital E.

Today was a regular day we didnt do much but all we did was work on our website and I added some more things to my website so that it would look better.
Today we didnt do a lot it was an ordinary day I had worked on my lego block and the picture of it is below. I had also heard about the wednesday challenge that was happening tomorrow.
Todays Wednesday Challenge was we got a bag of screws and a metal thing and we had to guess how many bags of screws weigh the same amount as that metal thing.
Thursday was a friday because we didnt have school tomorrow. It was the usual with the groups presenting and Mr.Wilton visiting, though more groups were ready with their projects and better prepared with their presentations for the upcoming qualifing competetion. I was using my computer most of the period while still paying attention to them and went on a trip to the shop to look at the amazing creations that the JPL group has put together for the very important competetion . Dr.Neato choose the winner of this weeks wednesday challenge when he explained how he was going to grade it then he said who can tell us about thier estimation. Today I got my laptop and made sure my website was up to date. I had looked to see if i had all my wednesday challenges and then i went to see if i had all my entries in.
Today's Wednesday challenge was not an actual competition. Today Mr. Miller made our challenge. We had to use adhesive to keep two tabs of aluminum together. We would use sheer force to break them apart. We had an apparatix to test it. The maximum weight we could use was 16 pounds, 2 milk gallons.

Today Mr. miller talked to us about yesterdays wednesday challenge we had talked about the different components used and which was the component. I also got a chance to work on my website and make sure that every thing was up to date. Mr. miller aslo told us that he will be grading the websites this time.
Today was a fun day because it was the last day before we go onto break. As we entered class we were told what we will do for the day. What we were going to do was work on our websites for the first part of class and the go outside and see the jpl group do their challenges. It was cool to see how their inventions worked and the winner was sams group.
