On thursday we made our first rough draft of what our bridge would look like and then we glued our pieces of spagetti
together to make our rough draft bridge. When we had come up with our idea, we had to cut up the spagetti into smaller pieces to fit our design. After
cutting it we then glued all those pieces together and set it outside to dry.
On Friday Dr. Neato taught os how to make a website. When we came into the class we had gotten our computers and we got a lesson from Dr neato about
how to make a website. I had made my first website that day and it was called Christian's website. i had added a couple of things to my title. I made
my tilte move. I had also added a backround color and made it tan.
Today we continued to learn about our website and how we can type paragraphs and sentences on the website. Edgar was driving that day and he taught us
how to insert a heading and and many other things. After we had the lesson with edgar and dr. neato we had time to continue working on our websites.
I had continued working on my first week of school on my website.
On tuesday we started off the day by having maddie driving. Maddie and dr. neato had
showed us some tips and some cool tricks to use while making our website. I learned how to copy websites and insert them into my website.
Wednesday had kicked off with us starting to continue building our bridge. Right after we started class we had checked on our bridges because the last
time that we had done bridges we glued our bridges again because apart of our bridge had broke off. We had accidentally used a little too much glue and
that had caused it to become to sticky and that made it hard to take it off.
Today we worked on our websites again. The only different thing that we did was that we working on formatting and inserting documents. Another
thing that We were working on was the Wednesday Challenge Form. For the whole period we had been working on filling out the problem and editing the form. It
was a bit difficult to fill out the form but our group managed to finish.
Friday we got another chance to work on our bridges. When we got together with our groups we had broke our bridge last time because of the amount glue
that we put on. We had also tried a new design when we had built our bridge again. I had helped with the gluing process of the bridge. After that we had put
our bridge away so that it would dry.
We kicked of our second week of school by logging on to our computers and getting a lesson from dr.Neato. Today we used sketchup on our computers coping and pasting and playing around with sketchup. One of the things that dr. Neato had us play around with is the longboard sketchup. We learned how to make the image bigger and smaller and change the different views of the object.
Tuesday we learned how to insert pictures into our website. Dr. neato had taught us how to put the pictures of the longboard sketchup that we did yesterday. We inserted the photos onto our website so that the picture for the skateboard can be shown.
wednesday we continued our wednesday challenge on the spagetti bridge and we had finished gluing our bride and we were on our final step in putting it together so that we could complete the challenge. In the end of gluing that day we had but our bridge to dry in the cabinent.
Today we did the most interesting thing in the world...working/updated our websites. Unfotunatly the Filezilla server crashed at the end of class so me uploading my website earlier really paid off in the long run excelling my rate of concentration and lowering my now all time low of academic stress in one of the easiest classes ever (so far).
Tuesday was one of the most frustrating days ever when returning to the classroom we had taken our bridges out from gluing we were greeted with two deliberately damaged bridges and just one day until the real test on Thursday. We were pretty much told by Dr.Neato that we needed work better which was fine because it emphasized the environment of the real world and not just our little world in school and home.
Alright so Wednesday was sucky and became a lot more sucky when the protruding beams on one of our bridges fell off of the area where it was supposed to dry which sucked the hope and optimism left from Yesterday.
Finally testing day was here for our bridge(s) and we chose to go with our mainly glue bridge that had protruding beams from both sides of the bridge.
Well it turns out Thursday wasn't the greatest day because of some miscommunication between a "builder" and an instructor during construction so we were eliminated thanks to the
beams touching the sides of the block. These are the results.
